The Role
The People Operations Generalist will play a key role in supporting and scaling the employee experience at Nabis. This role will partner with the People Team to manage day-to-day People operations, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and culture initiatives. The People Ops Generalist will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, ensuring that People programs and processes are executed with consistency, accuracy, and alignment to Nabis’ core values.
This position will report to the Director of People and collaborate closely with the entire People Team along with multiple departments to ensure smooth execution of People programs. The Generalist must be highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to changing business needs, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This is a 100% remote role, with occasional travel required depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Nabis’ core values by fostering a positive employee experience and driving a strong company culture.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring new hires and departing employees have a seamless experience.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and People programs.
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters, escalating to People leadership as appropriate.
- Scope and own programs like benefits, compensation and coordinate with vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the People Team on engagement programs, performance cycles, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Support the development, coordination, and delivery of employee training programs and compliance trainings.
- Assist with the development and implementation of People policies and procedures.
- Coordinate compliance trainings, audits, and documentation as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of HR/People Operations experience in a Generalist or related role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance.
- Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and operate as a self-starter.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
